Nuptials often include the presiding officiate asking if there's anyone who can give a reason why this man and this woman should not be wed. In the case of a Batavia, NY wedding, it seems that part might have been left out.

Police busted Timothy Cole last Friday for violating an order of protection his bride had taken out against him. The newlyweds had been previously married and divorced, and when police arrived at the wedding reception to investigate a heated exchange involving Cole and a guest, they discovered the active restraining order.

For being too close to his bride, Cole was charged with a felony first-degree count of criminal contempt. He was jailed without bail.

We're guessing this means Cole and his bride will have the always romantic option of consummating their new union during a conjugal visit.

Speaking of awkward family moments, how about those old-timey photos we all took on the boardwalk over the summer?
