Infidelity always seems to inspire strange and inventive forms of revenge. The Internet has furthered that cause by making it easy to create a public spectacle of your significant other's cheatin', lyin' heart, as well as letting you make a little profit.

Take, for instance, a recent ad on eBay in which a wife of 22 years offers memorabilia from her husband's affair with a "tart." The scorned woman in question claims to have intercepted a suspicious text message, before leaving work early to find her bedroom in disarray and smelling of perfume. A quick search yielded a condom wrapper and a pair of panties. After throwing her husband out, she decided to do a blue-light special with the evidence and sell to the highest bidder.

Unfortunately, eBay's policies disallow the sale of secondhand clothes, so the seller is only offering a picture of the underwear along with the wrapper. As of this writing, the bidding had already topped $25,000.

Question Raised: Why would anyone want to buy a photo of old drawers and a jimmy foil? And what are the odds that the exorbitant bidder will actually pay up?
