There's nothing like coming home after a night out to find somebody has parked in your living room. Honestly, we don't get too mad when it happens, because we've been there. In fact, we've personally been at fault for bike, car, motorcycle and moped accidents. And though they've all been non-lethal, we're staying away from boats.
Below is a gallery of dramatic crashes that may make you think twice about driving and decide to simply lock yourself in the house. Then again, it's probably only a matter of time until somebody crashes through your door.

"Ice Road Truckers" would be our favorite show if this happened at some point in every episode.

For AOL to describe a set of non-fatal accidents as "the 14 worst accidents ever" trivializes the thousands of accidents each year which truly are worse: those in which someone dies.

In July 1998 I had a silly little teenage girl pull out right in front of my...(slowly) just pulled out and stopped. I was in the left lane and she was in a parking lot off the right side of the road. Her field of vision was totally blocked by all the heavy traffic in the Right lane. A driver in the right lane had backed up and "waved" her out. Many have done this, IT IS ILLEGAL as that driver is not a trained nor a uniformed traffic officer and does not have the right to "wave" anyone out. She is supposed to sit there until her way was clear. OF course the driver in the car waving her out... didn't bother to look at what was coming up beside him... (ME) so I plowed into her at 55 mph, hitting her at the driver's side front tire... barely missing her door. THANK GOD I was in a Toyoto Camery... rated the highest for those type collisions or I would have likely died quickly.
The seat belt slapped hard on my neck, my right breast... breaking viens/arterys, causing horrible bruising. There was bleeding on the abdominal wall.. horrible bruising..from the waistline down to the hips across the whole front of my body... My knee flew up and hit the steering column.. ouch... The bottom of my left foot was badly bruised... not sure from what.. but it really hurt...
DO NOT SETTLE QUICK if you don't feel right...EVEN if the DR says you are fine...IF you don't feel right keep going back or to a different dr.
I had never heard of fibromyalgia... A traumatic event can set it off.... I settled after a yr... even thought I didn't feel right... the dr. said it was stress related feeling... from the accident and I would get better and better as time passed...
WRONG.... it got worse for a few yrs... finally more manageable now...
It's no fun..
the girl?? not one scratch... but the little winch showed up in traffic court... with her boy friend... darn near sat in his lap... whimpered and whined...cried... as if is was to be pitied..
she needed her butt spanked for acting like she did

you know...ya'll that are mocking Claire...yer obviously of the younger generations. She might darn well be properly educated with Spelling, but be older and thus not born with a keyboard in her hands like the rest of you mindless electronic age idiots. Thus don't act like yer so damned superior. I wager when you were younger you weren't such hot stuff on a keyboard either...a lot of older people are taking their time to learn to use computers don't discourage them.
