Skateboarders are known for crushing their manhood on steel rails and various other forms of painful jackass-ery, so a stunt that garners police attention basically means there was a serious chance of death.

That's why German police are on the hunt for a skateboarder who was filmed riding on a stretch of highway at speeds of up to 62 miles per hour. The man, who was on Southern Germany's Ulm-Stuttgart highway, picked up speed by holding onto the back of a motorcycle. After letting go, he freewheeled for two miles before jumping off and running away. He was wearing a helmet and cops think he may be a pro stuntman.

"We put out an all-points bulletin and have received information that gives us useful clues to who the man may be," said a police spokesman. "We are particularly concerned about copycats who may imitate the stunt, putting their lives at risk." If caught, the thrill seeker will face charges of endangering drivers and interfering with traffic.

Question Raised: Is this guy a great stuntman or a complete madman?
