We never made it out of first-semester Japanese in college, so we don't know what the blogger at Jacket Lunch Box is actually writing about. We do, however, like his style with food.Starting with the classic Japanese bento box as a format, he has been recreating the covers of famous albums in food and then posting the results online.
The covers seem to combine rice, seaweed, fishcakes, sour plum and other edible ingredients to make reasonably accurate, artistic copies of the albums they're mocking up.
Below is a feast of Jacket Lunch Box's appetizing album artwork.
