(Every week political pundits grace us with gaffes, hyperbole, violation of logic and just plain untruths. Every week we try to catch them because we are smart alecks.)John McCain vs. "The View"
John McCain's appearance on the morning talk show, in which he was accused of lying and wanting to bring back slavery, was a Rorschach Test for viewers: Those inclined to vote for McCain believed it was a rabid and over-the-line gang interrogation, while Obama supporters were thrilled members of the media were finally standing up to McCain and his lies. We think if all pundits behaved like the ladies of "The View" did last week, Great Moments in Political Punditry would have to be a daily feature.
More Great Moments in Political Punditry after the jump.
Chuck Norris vs. Arianna Huffington
The famous redheads clash over how many pages there are in the IRS tax code, and Iraq war policy. While Norris is clearly more suited to curing cancer with tears than he is to political debate, he was still able to interrupt the motor-mouthed Internet mogul a few times. A feat in itself.
Bill O'Reilly, sly like a fox
O'Reilly brags because he's never referred to Barack Obama as "Barry or Hussein." Wait a sec, DID YOU SEE WHAT HE JUST DID?
Chris Matthews remembers when slapping a secretary's butt was a compliment
A women's group is demanding Chris Mathews be fired for "misogynistic journalism." Sigh. What's next, going after dogs because they continue to hump legs?
