A Kentucky man may have only wanted a little off the top (er, tip), but he ended up losing it all.

Phillip Seaton, 61, is suing Dr. John Patterson after he went in for what was to be a routine circumcision, and came out a eunuch. He and his wife are seeking unspecified compensation from Patterson for "loss of service, love and affection."

It seems that while Dr. Patterson was carving up Seaton's junk, he thought he detected cancer on the man's member and removed the penis in order to be safe. Seaton's attorney, Kevin George, admits that subsequent tests showed that there was indeed cancer in his johnson. "It was not an emergency," George said. "It didn't have to happen that way." The suit claims that the doctor didn't consult the Seatons before he sliced, making it impossible for them to seek a second opinion.

In 1997, a similar suit was won by another unfortunate man in Indiana, who got $2.3 million after his penis and testicle were removed without his consent.

Should a doctor be allowed to exercise his judgment when there's cancer in your member? Would a few million dollars help you forget about your family jewels? Tell us what you think.
