Just because you may not have a roof over your head doesn't mean you don't deserve a little recognition.In order to spotlight the humor of those so often overlooked, we've compiled the funniest signs by homeless gentlemen and ladies into one wild celebration of the wit of the street.

I see no humor in "homeless" people or the sign he is holding. THe goverment passed the bill today to bail out Wall St. with a total of mega millions and some of the people in the UNited States go hungry, homeless , no job, or laid off . This is messed up !!!! Have you ever been homeless , living on the streets in a box and all you have is the clothes on your back and maybe a blanket? It's awful to think but maybe we need to before we go to bed tonight. Think about the nice warm/cool secure place we reside, nice showers, food , friends, relatives and people who care, no one cares for the homeless. Let me explain something some of the homeless are b/c they choose to be but on the other hand some of the homeless don't want to be. Perhaps they made bad choices in life and just tink these people like the ones that choose to be homeless may have children.
The law makers in this United States can bail out Wall St. but we can't build suitable housing for the homeless or feed the hungry, this world is messed up.

Also, it's not that being homeless or the fact they hold signs is funny, it's that they haven't lost all hope and they still have a sense of humor. I believe you are very insensitive for feeling sorry for these people and assuming that they are worse off and downtrodden. Bravo you insensitive jerk.

you are right , i almost became homeless after making $ 60 plus a year through no fault of my own, i still have my job but a lower pay, now i'm strugling to pay the same bills i had before but now i make half of what i used to.

Some just choose to be that way. I have 8 siblings and two of them are homeless. One is on drugs and gets locked up all the time the other is a drunk. My father gave the one brother his business and he drank and partied all the money away and did not pay the bills. Lost his (dads) house and now lives doing what he likes staying drunk and being with his Pals under the bridge. Any time he want to correct that all he needs to do is walk into a Vet Hospital....he likes his life the way it is....no responsibilty for anything.

Is there a country without homeless? The article was only showing the creativity. Not every person with a sign is actually homeless or even in need. I have seen people fake it.
Either way, I saw the funniest sign a few years back. It said, "I really tall, rich, and handsome. Being short, poor, and ugly is just my hobby!" I gave the guy five bucks for the good laugh. He earned it.

Yes, Sweden, if you can't work, they take care of you with a shelter and income to live, No street poor in that country like you see in Washington, D.C. laying by the Lincolm Monument and Washinton Monument, like I saw with snow covering their laying bodies on benches in the winter time ! These pictures were very funny in my oppinion although some of them were just stupid.
With respect to the fact that the bail out plan helps wallstreet, it should be realized that America (although our unemployment rate should be lower) has a fairly low one compared to some other places in the world.
It would be great if there weren't any homeless people, however as emphasized even by some of the pictures, it is sad to say that many of them are homeless because of what kind of people they are. :-(
I'm not saying by ANY means that all homeless are trash, but there definitely some of them that are just lazy, and moochers none the less and unfortunately... sometimes the people who are truely in need are the ones who most deserve help.... but they are thrown in with all of the rest.

Ever notice all homeless people have a black marker? Do you carry around a black marker? It's not a practical thing to carry around. I bet if you asked 100 random people to borrow a black marker, nobody would have one. The beggars with cardboard signs are phonys. I have a buddy who is one, he pulls in over $200 a day and lives in a $200,000 house.

i WAS NOT HOMLESS IN THE TRUE MEANIN OF THE WORD, BECAUSE i COULD HAVE GONE BACK TO MY PARENTS, THEY THIVER 1200 MILES FROM WHERE i WAS LIVING AT THE TIME. i HUNTED AND WENT FISHING EVERY DAY FOR FOOD AND SUBSTANANCE TO SURIVE. i LILVE OUT OD A DIRELECTCOF A VEHICLE, BUT IT KEPT ME WARM. tHIS IS WHY i DO HAVE FEELINGS FOR THE PEOPLE STILL DO IT.
