We checked in with Manuel Uribe -- the world's most obese man -- in March when he was being carried on the back of a flat-bed truck to go on a date. Well, now it seems those difficult romantic arrangements are finally paying off.

Uribe has convinced his girlfriend of four years, Claudia Solis, to marry him. They will be wed later this month in Monterrey, Mexico, in a civil ceremony.

Solis has actually helped Uribe lose nearly half of his body weight over the past two years. The 43-year-old man once weighed 1,230 pounds and has shed about 550 pounds. Unfortunately, he is still unable to walk. His immobility means he will have to be towed to the wedding on a specially made bed.
