The problem with talking on a phone while driving is simple: The activity is linked to accidents and death. But how do you control yourself when you suddenly get a call from the girl you've been trying to bed?DriveAssist will block all text and cell messages for any driver using it. The caller will be directed to voicemail, and the blocker will stop when the car is at rest. The system detects motion and speed by taking signals from both the phone's GPS and the passing cellular tower. There are also Web-based controls which you can use to accept calls if you aren't the driver of the car, creating the perfect loophole for crazy reckless teens.
The company is in negotiations with U.S. cell carriers to allow deployment in the states. Service price will be $10-20 per month and may result in a reduction in auto insurance.
Unfortunately, this won't stop you from performing other idiotic behaviors while driving, such as listening to My Chemical Romance on your iPhone with earbuds, reading the atlas to learn the capital of Iowa or playing video games.

There is an audit log so mom and dad can see that you've disabled the service. I bet the company is even considering email notification as an option.... "Jimmy just overrode the DriveAssist service." I bet the next call Jimmy gets is from Dad, and it won't be pleasant....
