BBW, my friend, If you do not think you are beautiful neither will any one else. But the opposite is also true, if you think you are beautiful then others will as well. I am definately a bbw at 5'8" and 290lbs, but i am confident, healthy, active and happy. I have no signs of disease and i am capable of going outside and playing with my girls. We ride bikes, play kick ball, swim among other things. My size does not keep me from doing the things i want to do. And yes i am sexy! I have classic beauty that does not need a lot of makeup.Thus I am free to be myself with no thought to some false front i need to put up for others. So be careful how you judge yourself because people will see that and they will believe your judgement.

Glad to see this article. I'va been a rock musician for 30 years and have always loved the plump women. I'm tired of seeing anorexic women who you can't tell are men or women from behind because they have no shape or feminen atributes anymore. I consider myself a BBW. I've always struggled with my weight, and I used to hate myself for it. I thought I was ugly because, like so many other plus-sized woman, I'd go to the store, have to go to the back corner to find my sized clothes, and stand inline staring at a size 2 magazine model. Now, I'm 20, 5'7 1/2" and 180lbs. I feel beautiful. Sometimes, I admit, I get a little downm but everyone does.
Though, I AM still a virgin, I've had several opportunities and offers (Many of which still stands) for a little midnight fun. Don't assume things about someones life when you have no idea. Us bigger ladies are just as attractive as any glossed over tooth-pick.

OMG...I can so relate! Its amazing how the body changes through the years and how sex can be more of a mindset! Before I had my daughter I was a 9/10 and people actually told me i looked sick and to skinny. Then after i had my daughter and kinda let myself go(oops!) Everyone was hard on me because my weight had gone up. I seriously have a hard time looking at myself, though my husband is very attracted to me. Im work on my physical fitness and eat better now. But..it seems that I may still be a big a big girl. lol

Alright first off, i have no problem with women on the bigger side. I've even dated a few, but I'm a little more than slightly offended by the pictures of the so called "plus size" models. They all look to be no bigger than a size 8 or 10, I'm a size 8 and have been half heartedly teased about being "small" or "tiny" most of my life. What is this world coming to in order to call a "petite" women "fat". In this day and age do you have to be a freaking size 4 to be called "skinny"?
