Since there is a worldwide epidemic with obesity, of COURSE more fat chicks have sex. There simply ARE more fat chicks. If 75% of the guys are chasing the 25-30% of women who are "slender to normal", and very likely failing, the only thing to fall back on are the plus-sized whatchamacallits. At least when you fall back on a fat chick, you get a nice cushion.

wow that is so sweet!! Sounds like to me your not comfortable with your looks, so you have to knit pick about a girls weight. And you know what us girls arent the only human beings that are a little big. Guys are more likely to be obesse then a women because they dont really care on how they look, or come off to others. I'm a Man and I am not sold on the idea that skinnier is always better.
There are many women who don't fit the classic beauty profile that is commonly displayed in the media who are extremely attractive. Personally I prefer a woman with some meat on her bones but , I also think that very slender woman can also be very attractive.
I also believe that this contemporary beauty norm is brought to us by gay, male, fashion designers in NY and Paris. I’m not homophobic, but I’m not taking advice on what is attractive in a woman from a gay man.
I admit that very slender woman look great in high fashion clothing but there's nothing like a woman with nice hour glass curves, big breast. I know many men that feel this way. I had girl friend who was a size 12 at 5'10" tall. OMG she stopped traffic.

I think you hit the nail on the head. The men involved in determining who is attractive amongst models are not your typical Joe Sixpack who lives in the real world.
Give me a full figured gal with a bubbly personality any day over some weight obsessed size 2 who is more concerned about losing weight than she is about living a healthy lifestyle.
Sure, there are plenty of thin girls who are attractive but no more so than a girl who weighs more than "average".

Hats off to all the guys that KNOW that women can be sexy no matter what size. BIG BEAUTIFUL WOMEN have as much sex as their thin counterparts. I'm a BBW and proud of it. For all you naysayers, I am VERY healthy, have a very loving relationship with my hubby and life is wonderful. Thin or not women have to have confidence in themselves for other's to see how attractive they are inside as well as out.

I know that I personally have never had a dry spell that wasn't self imposed...LOL.I also happen to fall into the classification of a "plus sized woman" (I'm one of those 5"10, 12-14's that stops traffic (like the girlfriend mentioned above)). I personally think it has a lot to do with the fact that I'm not hypercritical and obsessed with my body. More importantly, I'm not afraid to be assertive and I don't have a problem pursuing what I want. Maybe it's just the fact that I'm happy and healthy and I eat enough to have the energy to get hot and sweaty and have fun! Next time your wife or girlfriend has a headache, give her a sandwich ;)

I too like a woman with some meat on her bones. Granted I don't like a woman who is obese but I do like 'em curvy. I never really understood why society insists that for a woman to be "sexy" she has to be a as skinny as a rail.
I (briefly) dated a woman once who was 5 ft 4 and 100 pounds. She has a beautiful face but I found her toothpick body to be a turnoff.
Later I dated a woman who was also 5 ft 4 but was 145 pounds. The sex was fantastic! :-)

I want to know why science seems to be stumped by this study's findings. Even if you wanted to be a total jerk and say that no man could actually be sexually attracted to someone over a size 2 for whatever reason - fat holds sex hormones. From a purely chemical POV the more sex hormones you have the more likely you are to have sex. And that's before Darwin and Freud have their says!
So, why, exactly are supposedly learned men of science stammering when they say fat chicks get more tail?

The thinner model or woman promotes eating disorders for sure!
Too thin or too heavy is usually no good because it can lead to being sick. BUT, if you are on the heavy side and ARE healthy and it DOES happen..then more power to you.
As long as you are healthy..it does not matter what you weigh..heavy or thin. And you can be sexy at every weight or age!

Let's clear this up plus sizes begin with size 14 in womens colthing stores.. not 12
here's the low down and BMI are not correct either bad way of measuering weight
Here's a woman's size chart
0-3 anorexic or model skinny
5-7 petite or nearly anorexic
9 -12 normal weight average not plus
14-16 beginnig plus 18-20 1x 20-22 2x these are plus sized average and the 20-22 seames to be a popular size where I live
women... obease is size 24 -3x - 4x morbaly
4x- 5x and above... obease
*a 7 can be anorexic for some body structures at 118 lbs I was a size 7 and I was anorexic my bones showed through.... wasn't eating somking cigs instead
there are different frame types in women and the BMI doesn't allow for the bone strutures differnces nor does it for having muscle mass
not a true indicator of a person's weight.
No matter what the size I beleive any women can find sex and realationships... after all there are a lot of plus sized men...

I love your breakdown for us of the sizes. Im a size 3 and nowhere NEAR anorexic thanks. Some people are just smaller overall (at 5'4" i look perfectly healthy at my weight & size). I love how there's this "hate the thin people" mentality now. Just because the vast majority of people in our country are overweight, doesnt mean its ok.

I am a bbw but I do have to disagree with your "breakdown there". Aneroxia is a disease - NOT a size. I have close family members who are a size 0/2 and that is just how they were made, just as I was made larger. They eat healthy, they don't try to lose weight, Heck, most of the time they eat more then I do! It's just their personal body type. They are naturally very thin. I am not - I eat healthy, exercise regularly yet on most scales I'd be called "severely obese".
It's just a number. Health is the main thing - physical health (balanced, healthy diet and exercise), mental, spiritual AND sexual ;)

I must admit being 5' at 190 lbs, I don't feel all that attractive. I'm afraid to admit, it just might be due to all the skinny is sexy brainwashing we've been bombarded with on the media,movies, mags,fashion,etc. I know that it hurts my confidence in myself and in the bedroom. But most Americans don't find fat sexy, not even other fat women. I haven't heard much about that show with the gay guy trying to make fat women feel sexy anymore. And why a gay guy, to verify that fat woman are truly sexy, they should have gotten a real man to do it.
