Last night's Eagles' loss to the Giants was the type of game that makes Philadelphia fans rabid. Yet for those who watched the NFL East clash, there was one moment in particular when the Eagles faithful lashed out in a way that seemed rather odd. When Joe Biden was flashed on the stadium's video screen, a howl of boos could be heard throughout Lincoln Financial Field.

Pennsylvania went decidedly with the Obama-Biden ticket and the Delaware senator is PA-born, but alas the fans' seeming disdain for the vice-president elect was loud enough for the AP to note it in their game recap. Even Drudge Report picked up on it. Of course, if you take into account the earful Philly fans gave to VP-hopeful Sarah Palin a few weeks back, it might be a case of the fanbase not wanting their sports and politics mixed. Then again, the real impetus of the booing may not have been politically motivated at all. On the preceding play, Eli Manning spiked the ball and was not flagged for intentional grounding.

What do you think? Is the city of Brotherly Love frustrated with the soon-to-be VP or Eli Manning, a possible soon-to-be MVP?
