Fox News host Bill O'Reilly is both America's favorite and least favorite political journalist. Five percent of respondents to a Pew Research Center post-election survey named O'Reilly as their favorite political news personality, while six percent singled him out as the one they liked least -- the highest percentage in both categories. This isn't a huge surprise, considering the ratings for "The O'Reilly Factor" consistently lead the cable news pack.
Keith Olbermann and Sean Hannity also ranked high on both lists, but the real story may be that, despite paying more attention to this election than any other in the last 20 years, half of all Americans say they don't have a most or least favorite political journalist.
Needless to say, our policy is to take no official stance on O'Reilly, unless another one of his amazing profanity-laced meltdowns is leaked.

Too bad getting a different opinion than the pablum Cheryl is fed means O'Reilly disgusts her. Much as I dislike Couric I wouldn't think of writing that she disgusts me. Bill is great, I just wish he would let the others talk or at least finish their sentences. I would like to see him be more like Paul Newman and donate All of his profits to a specific charity, like research into childhood diabetes. Maybe he could be the one to find the cure. What a legacy!

You have hit the nail on the head. Bill can be the most annoying talk show host because he never lets anyone finish a comment -- it doesn't matter if the guest is liberal or conservative -- he always cuts off his guests in order to put forth his own inane comments. Bill needs to realize that he is not in fact the expert on things like the economy -- he needs to let his guests make their points. If he disagrees with the points that are made, he has plenty of air time to refute those views -- if he agrees with the points being made, there is no need for him to try to preempt the point being made by his guest.
I certainly don't hate Bill -- by and large I tend to agree with him on most things. However, I certainly don't 'love' him either. Olberman is the guy that is the most disgusting talk show host -- far worse than O'Reilly.

Bill O' the Clown is a blustering demagogue, a bigoted, gay bashing Theocrat. I have an 84 year old grandfather in his dotage who watches Bill O' every day, and I'm concerned about what the constant saturation in misinformation and hostility is doing to his blood pressure. Once, he was so confused and worked up once about what Bill had to say about us Liberals that he turned red in the face and chased me out of the house. I have never heard O'Reilly make any statements as hateful as your post. He presents multiple sides of each story. Yes he interrupts people, usually when they are attempting to avoid the issue. From the limited experience of reading your post I would label you a "hate monger."
