Some are calling Danny Boyle's "Slumdog Millionaire" a surprise hit among the heady limited-release fare this season. Perhaps the surprise is because people are actually going to see a movie about poverty and game shows that doesn't involve a super hero, but we suspect part of the draw is the stunning Freida Pinto.

The part of "Latika" is the first movie role for the Mumbai-based model and actress, but if she shows up on more screens in the future, we know we'll all be the richer for it.
