"Bix" (aka "Qix")Kind of like the old Taito line-drawing game from 1981. Actually, exactly like "Qix," just without a Q and with a B instead. If you like dividing parcels of land up with geometric precision while avoiding abstract evil dots, well, you've found your mobile nirvana, haven't you? The big difference here is you use your finger to trace out squares and rectangles ... and that's about it.
"Space Out" (aka "Space Invaders" AND "Arkanoid")Wow, this one enters new territory. Your floating paddle helps eliminate ever-descending pixel-terrestrials with the help of a trusty ball, thus mashing up two great games that had previously never even met before, much less hooked up and had a mutant spawn such as this one. This only makes us wonder what a forced breeding of "Pac-Man" and "Q*Bert" would look like -- and whose eyes it would have.
"Tennis Slam" (aka "Wii Sports Tennis") *Bonus Modern-day Rip-offWe know that the touchy-feely, accelerometer-enabled iPhone is trying to be a Nintendo DS and Wii in one, but did somebody have to make it so obviously transparent? Finblade's version of "Wii Tennis" has no cute Miis, just little nubbins with rackets that look like escaped Japanese snack food. Tap to swing or flick your phone to swing -- either way, you'll look a lot dumber than you would in front of your Wii.
