Thanks to laws against age discrimination, most of us can be relatively sure that we're not going to lose our jobs at the first gray hair or when we start to find new music confusing. Job security was less certain for a 44-year-old Toronto stripper who is charging her former employers with age discrimination.

Exotic dancer Kimberlee Ouwroulis filed the complaint against New Locomotion after she and another older girl were fired without explanation. Ouwrolis, who actually started stripping at 40, believes that she lost her place on the pole because the club was going for a younger look.

Ouowrolis is now shaking her moneymaker at a new club, where they have a presumably more enlightened understanding of some men's preference for cougars. In a thrilling statement we may adopt as our new official motto, Ouwroulis said, "Every customer should have a choice -- mature dancers, younger dancers, blond, brunette, black, white, etc."
