Will most guys pay $10 for the chance to be with a top-notch prostitute? Our guess leans toward the affirmative, especially now that we learned there were more than a few would-be johns in Columbus, Ohio who did just that.Police say a college adviser at Ohio State University College of Nursing set up a chat room for guys to post reviews of prostitutes advertising on the Columbus Craigslist site. The adviser, Christopher Johnson, then set up a raffle for the 600+ men who had joined the site to purchase $10 tickets toward a chance at an "experience" with a woman, who would receive her regular fee for the "services rendered."
The ring also set up an invitation-only house party in October with a group of site-recommended ladies of the night. The police used the party as a staging point to break up the ring.
Question Raised: Did these hookers have lawyers determine their cut of the raffle or did they carry out negotiations independently?
