If you're looking for work, you can probably relate to the frustrations of James Williamson, a business school grad whose spent the last four months unsuccessfully interviewing for jobs. With $30,000 in student loans, Williamson recently made the decision to get his hack license and start making ends meet as a taxi driver. Since that time, he's seized the opportunity for exposure his new gig provides by posting his resume in the cab.
The graduate of Philadelphia's La Salle University is currently using the divider behind the front seats as his ad hoc bulletin board. The hope is that one of his customers will see his list of accomplishments and offer the 25-year-old a job.
So far, Williamson has gotten a few business cards and some tips on strengthening his resume, but no promising leads. His ideal job is to troubleshoot electronics for a large company, but we think he's got a flare for promotional work.
