Whether you like David Lynch's brand of surreal, dream-like and not always sensical filmmaking or not, the lesbian scene in "Mulholland Drive" always reminds us that he has pretty good taste in actresses.

Which is why we're so glad to see that 18-odd years after playing Shelly on idiosyncratic TV drama "Twin Peaks," foxy Madchen Amick is suddenly popping up all over the place. In fact, you can't turn on the television without seeing the 37-year-old actress as either a manipulative cougar on "Gossip Girl," Christian Slater's wife on "My Own Worst Enemy" or rocker love interest Janie Jones on "Californication."

After seeing how kind the years have been to her, we're not ashamed to say we've developed a little crush. Click through the gallery to see why her comeback is so well deserved.
