1. Gmail Goggles Prevents Drunk Emails (6184 Diggs)
After what we assume must have been one too many unintelligible missives from Larry Page's high-school girlfriend, Google introduced a rudimentary anti-drunken email program. "Mail Goggles" verifies your sobriety by asking you to solve a few incredibly simple math problems, so it also works for people who are too stupid to be allowed within a power strip cord's length of an electrical outlet. Now if the iPhone could only come up with an anti-drunk dial app, we'd be much less likely to perform our weekly Saturday-morning-involuntary-forehead-slap ritual.

pap232323 asked, "what if your bad at math always?" Umm, and grammar too, apparently.

Also many Digg users seemed to think their math skills would actually improve after drinking. This assertion was heavily supported by the Digg community.
ThrillerJesus wrote, "If you're like me, this won't work because you're actually better at math the more you drink." This comment received +190 votes.
Celebrate the year with a drink friends, just make sure you have Goggles on your computer if you're planning on emailing afterwards.

I think I would fail the Mail Goggles math test even without being drunk. I have dyslexia that deals with numbers so I'd probably end up adding/subtracting the wrong number and failing.
Lol. Good thing I don't Drink and Surf the net.

the idea is that you need to be sober enough to open up the calculator.

I just heard this story in Minnesota about a woman being charged with animal cruelty because she left her 120lb border collie out all night in single digit weather. In her defense, was frozen to the sidewalk, and she did bring it a blanket.
