On a surprise visit to Iraq this weekend, President Bush wasn't exactly greeted with much pomp and circumstance. Instead, an angry local journalist chucked his shoes at the Commander-in-Chief in the middle of a press conference. We guess this guy doesn't like Bush. Does this mean all future press conferences will have to be conducted with bare feet?

Does anyone find it ironic that Bush was there talking about how violence is down in Iraq?

I wonder how that journalist would feel if he were in front of Saddam? Would he dare throw a shoe at him? I'll bet not! After all it boils down for better or worse he is still America's President and we should uphold out nation. Bush may not deserve it but there are many who believe he did a favor getting rid of Saddam and his co-hort of murderers. How soon we forget that part of the war!

This journalist could be the new kind of war hero. ALot of people globally are disgusted with the Bush Administration, he is not responsible for capturing Saddam Hussein.

I would say that this is the biggest event of the century.
The Iraqi scribe is the hero of the century.
It is the toughest slap on the face of all the Americans who think, act and fool like George W Bush. And there is a lesson here, to Obama too!
Lastly, look here the contrast between the two persons involved here.
The man perceived to be the most powerful man in the earth proves to be the most coward. He doesn't take it head on. He didn't have the courage to take it in his stride. He ducks like a coward to save himself. Look at his eyes. There is shock and awe!!!
In contrast, look at the other man. He is the REAL MAN. He had manhood with him intact. He is the hero. He is the brave man. He knew the consequences of the action. He plunged in it with everything he had. He used a pair of worn out shoes to make the powerful man on earth duck and jump.
All praise to God.
