We here at Asylum have a slight propensity for women who look like they could possibly kick our asses. Maybe that's why we go crazy for the sultry-tough hotness of the pinup vixens known as Suicide Girls. Founded in 2001, the Suicide Girls Web site kicked off the alt-porn movement, transforming the face of what's considered hot, and serving the greater good by making more pictures of beautiful naked girls available on the Internet (Really, is there ever enough?). Since then, the site that spawned a thousand imitators has branched out into calendars, tours and merch, including their latest photo book, "Suicide Girls: Beauty Redefined." The giant tome with hundreds of glossy photos of the pinups is worthy of a space on your coffee table, but in the meantime, below is a sneak peek of some of the images from the book and Web site that made Suicide Girls such a respected institution.

if we were all meant to look the same, then god would have made us that way, all one big boring shade of gray. throw some color in the mix, I think anyone with a tattoo or piercing is doing the world some proper justice by not fitting into their little box. and further more, I applaud the suicide girls for doing what they do, because people need to be exposed to some culture once and a while so we don't all end up closed minded and racist.

Tattoos are a way of self expression. There is nothing wrong with one tattoo or an entire body covered in them. Tattoos have meaning and stories behind them. I am getting my entire right rib done right now and I have dedicated it to my 2 younger sisters. Dont judge unless you would like to be judged.

What's next, the genocide boys? The choice to tattoo or not to is obviously personal, but for me, naked female skin has a beauty all it's own which I find difficult to improve by having someone scribble on it. The tattoo world consists of more than just body decoration. It also has a very dark element which any honest person who encounters it will admit.

tattoos are absolutely NOT meant to bring out a dark element, at least not all of them. That's a gross generalization, saying that everyone who gets tattooed is "dark" when in reality, many people get tattooed to memorialize a loved one or to show a part of them to the world that many would otherwise overlook. There absolutely are people who have rather dark or macabre tattoos, but many don't. And a woman's skin decorated with a splash of color is the sexiest thing in the world tbh.

It's boring and only purpose is to try to make a statement... kids have been trying to rebel since there were kids. Anything the "establishment" condones, kids are against. What else is new?
I didn't see one photo that was attractive... these young people look jaded, lost, and possibly hungover from too much XTC the night before... and not one of their tatts looks good, it's all a jumbled mess.
If they're trying to make a statement, why not for some purpose instead of only to look wasted?

I for one have trouble with multiple tattooes! However, I've recently understood that they usually signify a message that the relaying or has meaning to him/her. Usually it is personal in matter!
However, sometimes it is a real sickness and a masicistic thing; like the young man that has tattooed every inch of his body and now is doing his eye balls, as there is No place left to do. He needs psychiatric help, as he is definitely not normal, and needs medical help or may go blind! That is taking it to an extreme that is dangerous!
Less is more with tattooes it seems to me. They show up really good and any statement can easily be made and seen. Short of harming your self, go for it if you are happy with it. It is YOU that will go blind or die; not me! I know a woman that had a son begging every day for a tongue tattoo. He got one and a piercing. In two days, he accomplished a brain infection and died!Yes, It DOES happen!!
I'm a nurse and I can hurt you without permanently printing you, if you like pain! You can also hurt yourself without making a picture of it!Like to hurt? Stab away with a needle or ice pick and leave the ink off!
Every generation does things to get attention and try to be different or go against the system! But real life is out there. Try to fit in sometime and see if that is possible. I bet most of you don't have what it takes, and thus the markings and pain.
Anything for attention, as most of you don't have the education to fit into real life!
There's my opinion!
