Hundreds of thousands of people are currently packed on the National Mall, and bookmaker Paddy Power is doing his best to lock down bets from the gamblers in attendance.

The Irish bookie is offering odds on what phrases President Obama will offer up during his inauguration speech. The best odds are 8-1 for "Change has come," 10-1 for "Yes We Can" and 12-1 for "Fundamental belief," "As I stand here today," "Defining moment" and "God Bless America."

We'd like to throw down a buck on our favorite, a 500-1 shot for "Always bet on black!" though we also are leaning toward the 250-1 odds for "Let's get ready to rumble" and "Life is like a box of chocolates."

Political bookmaking is nothing new to Power. When Obama clinched the presidential race, the Irishman doled out over one million euros ($1.3 million). Proving more than a few folks did, in fact, bet on black.
