We've learned through our own life experience that real police officers don't wear garters, carry fuzzy handcuffs or arrest you for violating police code "69." So it seems a little excessive that a British police force has charged male stripper Stuart Kennedy with impersonating an officer ... 22 separate times.
Kennedy, who performs 20-minute stripteases as "Officer Eros" has spent 123 hours in custody since March 2007, when he was approached by two plainclothes female officers outside a bar in his uniform, parts of which were purchased from a Web site called "One Stop Cop Shop." The officers watched him perform his act, then took him in for questioning.
Despite the police force's commitment to "investigate all reports of alleged criminal behavior," the 25-year-old genetics student from Aberdeen University has yet to be convicted of anything, and the charges were dropped from his most recent arrest, made while he was driving home from the Tiger Tiger club in full uniform. Police have stuffed the equivalent of over 200,000 U.S. dollars of public money into the G-string of the courts in attempts to prosecute Kennedy.
Sometimes, you just have to fight for your right to nudity. Perhaps the stripper cop should have taken a cue from the ladies in our naked protesters gallery.

The cops just wanted to strip him nude, and get their rocks off. Police are notorious drunks, and closet homosexuals anyway.

You can get a cop uniform for 50 cents in almost any bar restroom. They have dispensers on the wall selling different types of uniforms for your little officer friendly.

His uniform is too realistic. Stripper could be his name, but you may not see that. His uniform should be much different to the other UK police. It may not have the same allure, but it would avoid problems.
I am thinking it may be illegal to carry even a fake gun in public without a permit. I know it is in Australia.
As for female fake cop strippers, you can tell they are not real police, so it is different. Really, this guy should be in gaol.
