Shame on Kellogg for taking on such airs. I hope Mr. Phelps made some money on the deal, and I would certainly like to participate in a boycott, but I haven't had a single Kellogg product in my home for years, nor would I feed any of it to my children any more than I would give them bong hits. Really, which is worse for you, a bowl of sugar frosted Tony flakes, or a hit off a bong? I read lots more about obesity-related health problems than I do cannabis-related ones.

Just because he could swim, Mr. Phelps was offered the high paying honor of representing Kellogs as their all-American boy that all children should look up to. Since Kellogs does not sell bongs or other Drug Paraphernalia, Mr. Phelps elected to disqualify himself as an appropraite role model for their products. The fact that he is a good swimmer in no way excuses his illegal behavior.
Right on Kellogs! Please pass me the Corn Flakes!

Phelps was offered the high paying honor of representing the makers of Cocoa Krispies and Froot Loops!
I'm beginning to think Phelp's error was not in behaving like the average 23 year old male, but in agreeing to represent a major contributer to American obesity.
Amen to the boycott! Replace those sugar, fat-laden products with something healthy!!!

Our heros are examples to our society. If they become tarnished by breaking the laws and not punished, we set an example that says, " some peope are above the law". Can this be so in America? The land of the FREE! Free for some but not for others!
If Micheal Phelps wants to break the law and not be punished then he should go to another country to live.
Tell america that the laws apply to everyone. Just because one can earn metals or wins games does not exhonorate him from being treaated like all other American who are suppose to have the same rights............ This smells!
NO AND NO AND NO special treatment. If you do so then open our prisons and jails and release all of the offenders who have broken the law .
Breaking laws or contracted agreements that state that he, in order to be placed in such high respect, regard and admiration must live with-in a standard of ethics, that will say to our people and youth, "there is danger in putting your needs and desires first before the concerns of societies.
If you want to live in a mamer that can be responsible for the influenceing generations of our children into altered states that can enfluence and impair their thinking then parade Micheal Phelps as a hero!
In the future if Kellog agrees to keep company with Mickeal Phelps then each bit of foods that we eat will remind us that "we ate it"
And when our dear loved ones ,who have been drawn into partaking of accepting behaviors that can cause harm to others becomes affected , ( the level of crime increases from useage of drugs) we have CONTRIBUTED TO THE DOWNFALL OF THE AMERICAN!
Anyone who condones this behavior is adding to the drug problems that we are having in the United states.
If you truely believe that you who condone Micheal Phelps are not responsible for the DRUG LORDS and the drug traffic ,you, are deluding yourself. It is you who are holding the gun that is killing our people. Micheal is only pulling the trigger with your quidence and permission.
Responsibility for the actions of condoning an activity that can harm others as well as a nation is all of ours. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND STOP SUPPORTING ANYONE WHO IS A "PIED THE PIPPER" to our society.
If the condoner himself wants to ellude the fact that he or she too is at fault in some way , thinking can lead these surveys into mass thinking and acceptance of the majority.
This majority might contribute to eroding our values and ethics.
Stand strong America! Boycott Micheal Phelps and his audience of pot smoking parties (if he wanted to smoke pot in private that is another matter)
This is not Micheal Phelps's lead.
AMERICANS we must lead by example.
Blessings to America

Really Now??? Are you kidding me??? So, Kellogs is boycotting a kid that made a mistake and has learned from that mistake. Hey Kellogs, what about all the Thug basketball and football players you have endorsed???? Maybe Kellogs needs to stop worring about such stupid stuff and start worring about how they are killing our children with their sugar coated fake products.... I can live without their crappy cereal and anything else made by that company.....

Reality check: How about boycotting Kellogs because they advertise unhealthy, sugar-filled crap to kids as part of a healthy lifestyle?
In my humble opinion, Michael Phelps should be ashamed of himself for being associated with them, rather than for smoking something humans have been consuming for twelve thousand years or more with no ill effect.
John.

I think that Kellogg should rethink their ban on michael phelps. This man is the most decorated athlete in history and just because some asshole decided to snap a picture at a party in which he was relaxing from a very rigorous season and life experience. I would instead like pictures of all the stars out there that get drunk and high on drugs that cause violence, rage, death, and broken families which marijuana causes none of (unless the law get's involved mind you).
