It's been four-and-a-half decades since SI first began highlighting the glory of the swimsuit to sports fans. It didn't take long for the rest of the world -- sports fans or not -- to take notice. Since then, SI has helped wallpaper lockers, bedrooms and computer screens with some of the most ... sporty women ever. From Paulina to Cindy to Marissa to Tyra, we have a lot to be thankful for come February. This time around, we're extremely thankful for the cover sporting model Bar Refaeli.

I'm not one to complain, but I long for the days when swimsuit models had hips. These girls have the hips and torso of a lanky 12 year old boy.
Yes, of course these girls are pretty but their bodies are not as attractive as they should be. I think the runway model "coat hanger" physique has pushed its way into other modeling fields.
Please bring back the classic swimsuit model body, one with curves -- that of Kathy Ireland, Cindy Crawford, and Paulina Porizkova.
