O'Reilly wants old lady melted, makes crow sound three times
Bill O'Reilly was quite bothered by veteran White House reporter Helen Thomas's line of questioning during Monday's presidential press conference. So much so, that he suggests next time Barack Obama needs to douse her with water, in hopes that it would melt her like it did the Wicked Witch of the West. For reasons known only to himself, O'Reilly also imitates Thomas by cawing like a crow. Three caws, to be precise.
Check out the gallery below to see who else besides O'Reilly ranks in the most loved/most hated list.

"Morning Joe" goes for the "aww, that's cute" demographic
Who says a gal can't have it all? Throughout her interview with Virginia Senator Jim Webb, "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brezinski holds a surprisingly well-behaved baby. And it wasn't even her baby! In a related story, Fox News has finally announced Alan Colmes's replacement. From now on, their nine o'clock hour will be known as "Hannity and Panda."

MSNBC senator not named Chris Matthews?
Speaking of "Morning Joe," its namesake, Joe Scarborough, is mulling a run for Florida's open senate seat in 2010. Before getting into the punditry game, Scarborough served three terms as a Congressman. Meaning that the legislative skills he learned in the House, mixed with the bloviating skills he perfected on cable news, would make Joe Scarborough the most qualified man ever to run for United States Senate.

Every week political pundits grace us with gaffes, hyperbole, violations of logic and just plain untruths. Every week we try to catch them, because we are smart alecks.

I agree with Bill. The lady needs to retire. The whole "so-called" press conference was a joke. Other than a few, it seemed like all the reporters were given the questions to ask so the "so-called" president could have mini speeches & say nothing. You are criticizing the wrong person.

Helen Thomas is ridiculous. I am not a young woman myself, but Thomas has long outlived her abilities. She has always been an obnoxious boor.

Hey..here's something REALLY funny. It's about this "staunchly conservative" host on Fox. He
palavers about "family values" and gets busted for forcing some producer chick to listen while he spanks it on the phone. Then he pays her a couple hundred grand in hush-money. Isn't THAT frickin' hilarious?

I agree with Bill. Helen Thomas is a shill for th left...always was. She asks stupid questions and expects to be treated with respect because she is old. Normally I would show an older lady respect. But, Helen puts herself out there; still wants to be one of the press. So, she has only herself to blame. Oh and btw, those "ladies" on the view again show their true colors. When the pundits were really giving Sarah Palin a going over by attacking her and her family; well, it was fair game. She is in politics after all. The same goes here. Helen is still in the game; so take it!
Go Bill and Bernie!!!!!

Bill O'Reilly the #1 watched news.. As far as Helen Thomas goes she needs to retire, throw in the towel, she is a has been. She asked a stupid question and couldn't even ask a question about the bailout package. I see why Obama let her ask a question, got right off the subject.

Three cheers for Bill, Mr#1 who will remain there in spite of effots of left wingnuts to discredit him. And AOL, I stopped paying for your service after this almost daily witch hunt against ORielly. AOL has turned into a left wingnut site and I will send you no more money. Also, I stopped using Google, your partner, after seeing how many sites have been blocked by Google because of their conservative views. So much for freedom of expression and speech.

Come on...get a grip....there are older goats representing voters in Congress. At least one can't hold his head up long enough to listen to a conversation or eat a meal. Some of those old FOLKS should be put out to pasture with Helen. What a sad state of affairs.

Annette9929 claims: "omg Helen Thomas is a mean old bag and so into the pockets of every democrat there is. She gets her facts wrong most of the time and seems to be senile most of the time. She needs to hang it up and is not a reputable person to be asking anything."
And how do you know this Annette? Do you know Helen Thomas personally? And how does she get her facts wrong?
It seems to me that you are projecting your insecurities onto her. You want her to be mean because you feel that it dehumanizes her. You want her to be wrong so you can feel empowered and appear to be knowledgeable. The odds that you know her and would write something like that about her are slim to none.
If Helen didn't know what she was doing over a 40+ year career as a White House correspondent, and most of that time with UPI.
And spare us the "oh my god" ("omg!") exclaimations - you don't know Helen and its doubtful you have a handle on God, either.

You know, Helen Thomas was not the only one to ask a stupid question at that conference. Did you hear the way off topic question the Washington Post reporter asked? He asked about the A-Roid scandal. What in God's name did that have to do with the important topics at hand? The topics were the economy and foreign policy and terrorists (or if you are Helen Thomas - so called terrorists). There was no room for that dumb a$$ question in this press conference. Who cares if some overpaid sports steroid junkie did or didn't shoot up? I want to know about the future of this country not the past/present/future of overpaid athletes. What a waste of an opportunity to ask a pointed question. That reporter should be fired. And Helen Thomas, go home and stay there. Bush was right to banish you to the back of the pack.

I am ashamed to say that Helen is from my state of Kentucky. I was hoping that she would talk about the great job Obama did during the ice storm in Kentucky. Thirty three dead, our government sending contaminated peanut butter in care packages trying to kill off the rest of us. Oh, it's not Katrina and Bush is not in office so it will remain quiet.

Bush reduced funding for the FDA so that we could have all kinds of bacterial goodies in our food sources....It's been that way since he took over!
You are SERIOUSLY going to claim that Obama was a part of the current peanut disaster???
By the way --- this plant has been sending out contaminated peanuts since October 08 at least. ONLY UNTIL OBAMA got into office were we able to find out which plant it was coming from.
This board is unreal. I've never seen so many huckleberries in my life....

:::::sending contaminated peanut butter in care packages trying to kill off the rest of us:::::::
Barry -----
You need to pay better attention. There was no contaminated peanut butter. It was peanut products but the peanut butter was and has always been safe to eat. At least that's what the FDA says...
Bush has long underfunded the FDA (to pay for his costly and unnecessary wars) so who knows how precise the FDA is anymore...like the rest of our nation.

I find it funny that people can complain about O'Reilly and Limbaugh WITHOUT ALSO complain about their equally irritating counterparts Oberman and Maddow. All of these entertainer/commentators are equally biased and disrespectful. If you don't see that, then your are a SHEEP of the LEFT or a SHEEP of the RIGHT. In other words, you are incapable of independent thought.
