I only viewed the first 15 photos. I don't see anything wrong with hugs. I didn't see anything "sexual" in the photos I viewed. I may be a Pollyanna, but I think it's better than a gun or knife interaction.

I hug my wife, but that's it. I have always considered it a hollow gesture. Members of my family hug me all the time because they know it pisses me off. My brother's new wife said once, "I know you're not a hugger, but I am", so she did. I felt that intrusive and rude.

I consider hugs to be non sexual, but I would prefer them to be private, not a mock hug for scene stealing in public, and personal. I can hug either gender, but wasn`t especially close to my Dad, and would not be terribly eager to hug any other men, either. And groping plus hugging, or kissing plus hugging, isn`t just hugging, that is sexual. Wouldn`t want to do it with a woman in public, but sometimes do, awkwardly, when they want to, wouldn`t want to do it with a man at all. This hug didn`t look awkward for Maddie or Sharon, whether it was for those watching or not. Mock affection for scene stealing isn`t real affection. Celeb hugs and kisses are routinely posed, publicity stunts, folks should know better than to reward or imitate the celebs for that. Looks like Jane was a hacker who used to read my e-mail, 9 years ago, when I was actually getting e-mail (J/K Jane). At least hopefully commenting on this article won`t get too many folks to upset, like my comments on the breast feeding article, if I had made some, would have, but to sum that up politely, I don`t hate the folks who disagree with me usually, so I don`t call women who breast feed, for example, nasty names. But the activity is sexual, which is why it is addictive, and sex should be mother/father, not mother/child. And those who think differently have a right to be wrong, just as I do, just as the alleged gay who posted does. And Georgia may be wrong about this article, but seems to be right about Aol. And she certainly has a right to her opinion, too. AOL has a viewpoint, whether they are sure what it is or not. TOSsing members for nude photos but publishing nude magazine covers? That is pro commercialism, not pro morality.
