We've collected a few of our favorites in the gallery below. But before you laugh too hard, consider this fact: Even one of our own Asylum editors was caught on the street by the Google van. If it can happen to us, it can surely happen to you. For more best-of moments check out Urlesque's Top 10 Moments Caught on Google Maps Street View
Have you been out on the streets doing anything you might regret?
Best of Google Street View
Fact: White Van men hate Google.
Aliens flying in formation over Bethnal Green. Or plane? No, definitely aliens.
Alien Mothership? Or fly?
Sunbathing in Glasgow.
Scarecrows with speed cameras.
Silly Google -- how are you going to get across there?
Oh right that's how -- make the water disappear.
We hope for his sake this boy's schoolmates don't find this. "What were you doing to those cows Phil? Are they your mates? Is that your girlfriend? Is your girlfriend a cow, Phil?"
Monument to a dead digger?
Lamas in a garden in Staffordshire.

Street View is a feature on Google Maps that allows you to virtually roam the streets of towns to which you may never have even been. While this is useful for figuring directions, it's also turned out to be useful for finding amazing pictures of people doing stuff they should not be doing -- like that fellow passed out on the corner or the kid who looks like he's about to shoot another kid ...

If you begin to watch anybody with this,it's no different than being a pervert stalker. These people don't even know you're watching,it's too close for comfort. Why do we have to give up every ounce of our privacy, just for something as useless as this. This should be illegal! This is not The Sims people,it's REAL LIFE! sheesh!

You obviously have no idea what this is. You can't "watch" anybody with this. They are images taken at 1 point in time never to be taken again. Next time know what you're talking about before you type.

I think that you can request to have your Google streetview removed from the site or to have your address removed.

Dear Mr Google. or Mr. Asylum ,or who ever you may be.
My take on this article of Google Street View is unacceptable, taking uncessary photo shots of people reminds me of George Orwell's book, is this our future? We do so like to make fun and laugh at people, so I would guess why the younger generation would enjoy this, they have grown up on "Saturday Night Live " and it seems that self esteem is brought about at someone else's expense, I beleive that is called immature, but how about using this tool for a better purpose, such as crime.I do NOT approve of any type of tool that shows directions to one home, as one can see on the computer where and how to get to people's PRIVATE residence.Map Quest is NOT the culprit, the culprit is when one can type in one name and information appears.
Oh it's all great till something goes wrong!

Of course it not an invasion of privacy! These people are outside on public streets. They are fair game for anyone with a camera. If they seek privacy, they need to go behind closed doors, not in a public area! HaHaHa - what a bunch of dopes!!!

How dumb are you people... if you are in a PUBLIC PLACE, your image there is NOT PRIVATE!
These cars are not harassing anyone either, as they only randomly capture location images. Stop blaming others for your own inadequacies and embarrassments!
