A lot of people are happy that Rush Limbaugh is quickly becoming the face of the Republican party.
Democrats are happy because Rush is the definition of divisive. Those who don't love him, hate him. And those who hate him make up the majority of the country. And Republicans are happy because when it comes to Rush, they have to be (witness the recent rash of Rush criticism promptly followed by ass-kissing apologies).
One demographic remains a mystery: you. What do you think of el Rushbo?

This is America and everyone has the right to be heard. Every radio has an on/off switch and every American has the right to use it. It is called Free Speech.

No, you do NOT have a right to be heard. You have a right to *Speak*, but nobody is obligated to listen to you.

I haven't heard Limbaugh's show in a good 15 years, but he never came across as bigoted. A blowhard, for sure, but what Democrat or Republican political commentator or politician *isn't* a blowhard?
Seriously, Liar Bush is followed by Liar Obama, and what's the damn difference? Just about *nothing*, that's what.

You can turn your radio off. But he is still a bigoted, reactionary blowhard.

It's responses like this that make me wonder whether you've actually listened to the guy, know whats going on in the world, or care enough about your country to realize the error of the left's ways.

A guy who plays songs like "Puff the magic negro" and you think I need to justify my position. I have listened to the buffoon. He is a disgrace to the right wing. Thankfully, Oxy-Rush is only representative of the far right wingut 28 percenters that still think Bush was a good president. (Or, at least, they won't admit that Bush was a complete disaster to this nation because that would mean admitting their own personal failure in supporting Bush to begin with...)

People need to understand that he ultimately he is a entertainer. He gets those millions of listeners so that he can make those millions a year he gets. He brings no new ideas (that I havent already heard of) and I couldnt imagine him as a politician. I dont usually dont believe polls, but that is crazy that he even ranks lower than Reverend Wright haha.

Hypocrite. That is all he is. He has no plan and no fresh ideas. The Oxcy/viagra incident really exposed him for what he genuinely is. Talking does not make you a leader. He is a entertainer. Not worthy of comparison to any of the current or past leadership. I think the proper term is "Armchair quarterback" The disturbing thing is when people state he represents me a 100%. Ditto heads. How uninformed and weak are you to not form a genuine original opinion. I may have some very close views with him but I don't think I could ever say he "speaks for me" or anything similar. I honestly though quit listening to him a while ago. It reminds me of when your a teenager and you discover punk for the first time or something like that. Rush is like that 45 year old guy with a sex pistols shirt telling you how you sold out and are not "keeping it real" Unfortunately we got real problems people. Yelling and talking shit is not going to solve them.

I think Rush's speech says more about the state of the GOP than it does about him. With a party so lost in its ways to have him as a keynote speaker says it all. I am very tired of the red/blue fighting and the non-attempts at bi-partisanship. When will we focus on being Americans and less on what some irrelevant radio host has to say? NOTE: I will not call Rush to apologize.

IF RUSH LIMBAUGH IS NOT THE LEADING SPOKESPERSON FOR THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, THEN WHO IS? JOHN MCCAIN, SARAH PALIN OR BOBBY JINDAL? THE ANSWER IS ODVIOUS. WHO IS DRIVING THE CONGRESSIONAL REPUBLICAN "JUST SAY NO" AGENDA? RUSH!
