Our first exposure to Billy Crudup was his playing a sweet-faced '70s junkie with an unprintable nickname in the gentle, mournful 1999 indie flick "Jesus' Son." His big break came a year later, when he portrayed fictional band Stillwater's show-stealing "guitar player with mystique" in Cameron Crowe's '70s-rock odyssey "Almost Famous." We assume that Crudup's shaggy locks and 'stache were less useful for his latest role as the blue-skinned, government-contracted superhero Dr. Manhattan in Zack Snyder's long-awaited version of cult-comic "Watchmen." Off-screen, 40-year-old Crudup generally eschews Hollywood convention by dressing age-appropriately in casual jeans, comfortable plaid shirts and snug sweaters. Basically, he looks really comfortable. Even a little like your dad. Here's how to get that style, without prematurely aging.
