"Who wants to be better in bed?" is a pretty stupid question. Aside from priests and eunuchs, who wouldn't want to be an elite practitioner of lovemaking? Yet, due to what you used to hear on the playground and in the locker room, and what passes for adult conversation these days, we found there's a shocking amount of misinformation out there. In fact, there are so many misconceptions about men and sex that we felt it appropriate to consult an expert. With the help of Joel Block, PhD, psychologist and sex therapist, we are feeling very excited about clearing up the biggest myths about sex.
Ten Sex Myths Debunked
Myth: The bigger you are, the better you are in bed
Truth: Unless your junk resembles a baby carrot, you're plenty big. But that doesn't mean you have it easy in bed. Size has nothing to do with being a sexual rock star. For a chick to say you're the best she's ever had, you've got to be attentive and confident.

Myth: The average man thinks about sex every 7 seconds
Truth: Sure, a guy has sex on the brain on a semi-regular basis, but not multiple times a minute. In today's financial climate, most men are thinking about money and job security much more than they are about getting laid.

Myth: A guy should be able to last at least 30 minutes in bed.
Truth: The average orgasm time for guys is 3 minutes of active thrusting. It takes women an average of 14 minutes to climax. So, really about 15 minutes is all you need to be able to do.
Retna
Myth: Condoms cut back on sensation
Truth: Maybe a tiny bit, but sex still feels awesome. Plus, the fractional amount of feeling that is cut can help you last longer.
AP
Myth: The bigger the boys, the more fertile you are
Truth: Studies show that there's no correlation between big testicles and baby making abilities. You only need to be concerned if they're too small tinier than walnuts could be a sign of low fertility.

Myth: Men are more promiscuous
Truth: This may have been the case 50 years ago, but society has changed. It's okay for women to be more open with their sexuality and are just as likely to have booty calls and random hook ups as guys are.
Everett Collection
Myth: Bachelors have the most sex
Truth: Shockingly, statistics actually say that married folks get it on more regularly. The reason? They don't have to find someone to do it with, they live with them.
ABC
Myth: A man should always orgasm during sex
Truth: Just like women, it's not going to happen all the time. Although, be thankful. The odds of climaxing are more in guys' favor than they are in women's'. If you're sleepy or stressed, you can get hard and it will feel good, there just may be no, er, emission.
Getty Images
Myth: You should abstain from sex right before a big event
Truth: This was a belief commonly held by athletes. They figure getting it on could cause them to lose focus. The opposite is actually true. Sex is a great stress reliever and can help clear your mind and relax you before a big meeting or game.

Myth: Oysters make you horny
The Truth: Skip shelling out on the raw bar when trying to get a date in bed. There's absolutely no scientific evidence that oysters boost the sex drive.

Men do beg not to use a condom but women must protect themselves from pregnacy and from aides and other deiseases yesterday was Woman's /girl
aides awarnese day.So Women do take resposiblity for your sexual health. Female condmon is good to protect a women when a man doesn't want to or won't but women also need a product that is thiner and more comfortable but stronge.
Yes, you can get aides from your husband if he cheets and doesn't protect himself. So don't think marraige keeps you safe . Not sure that you can trust them, trust can be an issue.
While I have never experienced this personally,
I did loose a friend to aides in the early 1980's a childhood friend. She was a virgain until she decided that her boyfreind would be the one her frist one, he was hiding his IV drug use by wearing wrist bands. Again this was before CDC put it out there that IV drug users could spread aides to the hetersexual population through shared needles....and sex.,
she was a young teen then and aides education was not in the sex ed classroom or some of the kids had taken sex ed but not a class that included a discussion of it. She died a brave horrible death he was not by her side and nor was her family they disowned her and were upset her baby was aborted to spare the child of this (agian befroe they figured that the child might not get infected ) It just happened to her so early in the aides timeline, watching her go from healty to sick such a horrible decline scared me so terribly. By college I was one of the frist people tested with the aides test yes college kids were the guni pigs for the free aides testing. Worried that my own encounters might have put me in danger.

Condoms really suck. You get no enjoyment with condoms. Me and my husband have used them a few times and we both hated it

Actually, length isn't something to be worried about. 4-5 inches is all you need. Larger girth, however, is of more importance when it comes to pleasure for a woman. The larger circumference, the more sensation for a woman. Of course, more lube is needed.

Once and for all if a woman thinks size matters then for her it probably does (or she might have a large opening). Maybe for her to get really turned on the visual of a large member does it for her. Scientifically she could probably be pleased by a smaller penis but maybe psycologically she feels the bigger the better. It's a ll a frame of mind. Just like bigger tits turn me on more but they don't really do anything beyond satisfying the visual.

My husband told me a bad joke from Playboy which coincides with the first slide. It was about what married women and 7/11 have in common. Both are nothing to get excited about but what else is open at 3 am. Sad, but probably true.

I had a three year marriage that failed, then I had 50 great years of sex and fun, but talking to these young people today I was wondering how men got so dunb. Now I know why, they are getting dumb advice from so-called sex experts.
First the majority of men are between 5 and 6 inches. There are some that are larger and some that are smaller but they are in the minority. The difference in the women whose vaginas have a wide variety of sizes. When I was a teenage, all the talk was about a women'sa size and there were a lot of jokes about that. "My girl's vagina is like the lost and found." or "I found a place to park the car." Now women have found a way to hide their size by blaming men' size. For normal women size doesn't matter. This is a fact. I've know women who dated men who were 11 inches, but later fell in love with a man who was 5 inches. Although there is a certain type women who need a very large penis, either because they are so large or because it is a kinky thing for them. There even used to be a national clubs for "Well Hung Men" and when these women went to a new city, they would contact the club and enjoy a good time. AS for time, women tell me the date they date last only a few moments. If it's the first time he got you in bed and had been wanting for a while, I could understand it, but come on guys five minutes? You can go multiple times. Each time gets longer. I used to get yelled at if I left the bedroom before in less than five hours. One more thing, climaxing is the easiest thing a guy can do, most time too easy. If your guy doesn't climax in sex with you, trust me, he's gay.

Let me tell you the truth, a woman should and I mean should not have a small vag...she should have a tight one, but not small, that's just nasty! and a man should be at least 8.5 inches to have fun with, have this lady lost her mind did she forget you had an ass, and if you want to switch positions and dont want the tiny itty bitty penis to fall out that you need a nice size man. A big penis is a better one, dont lie to these people.

What"s really happening here.Unless you are sneaking off with your significant other or someone else's and you don't need the romance and flirting;SEX begins in the kitchen, living room, laundryroom etc,;then ends in the bedroom.Whatever the size of the penis or vagina,if the man knows what he is doing.By the time he gets her in the bed climaxing for the both is iminently cclose.Where are the real lovers not just sex partners.
