We love when someone solves a problem we didn't know we had. Apparently, letting wine breathe is a huge drain on your time -- time that could be spent drinking. Philip Stein apparently solved this particular waste of resources with the Wine Wand. Here's the deal with wine needing to breathe: When you unplug a bottle, tannins are released, upping the flavor. Enter the Wine Wand to accelerate this aeration process. Of course, a similar result would occur if you gargle the entire bottle of wine before drinking it.
The Wine Wand comes in two sizes: $325 for the travel version, and $525 for home. As we all know, when it comes to your wand, size matters, so you should always spring for the bigger size. The only question remaining for us is: Does it work with box wine?
