Shantytowns are nothing new. People have been sleeping in tents and lean-tos for ages. But Hoovervilles (or Bushvilles, if you will) are making a bit of a comeback. These illegal encampments are sprouting up all across the country, from Athens, Ga., to Fresno, Calif., full of the homeless and out of work.

One encampment in California is even being moved onto the state's fairgrounds after being featured on a segment of "The Oprah Winfrey Show." Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger says the move will give the homeless "dry shelter, reliable health care and warm meals," which makes you realize how much it sucks to live in a tent city. But what's the worst part?
