Yesterday, reporters phoning in to what they thought was a White House conference call with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were instead greeted by a breathy woman wondering if they had any "hidden desires," or felt like "getting nasty."White House officials explained the mix-up as merely a case of an aid mistyping a phone number. But it's not the first time this has happened. In 2007, homeowners seeking information about a Bush administration mortgage-relief program were misdirected to a Christian organization.
So, if there is one thing we already know about the difference between a Bush White House and an Obama White House, it's that the latter's clerical screwups are much, much more fun.
