You might not notice our mad DJ flow, but we can spin podcasts, keyboards and Perl scripts. We listen to a lot of music while working, and in the office it's nearly impossible to hear over the drone of our boss trying to motivate us in vain. That's why we were incredibly happy to check out the Union (pictured here). These DJ headphones from ifrogz EarPollution line ($50) fit great, and after a few solid days the padded cushions didn't really irritate the ears. The sound quality -- partly due to the 50 mm speaker drivers -- picked up even the subtlest sounds and blocked all the chatter from the cubicle next door.
Ear Pollution also has a line of totally customizable headphones (40 mm drivers) with a ton of different artwork to choose from ($35). All are done with a simple Web interface.
