The latest Obama-themed product to get the boot for being racist is the Obama Chia Pet, which Walgreens is ordering out of all of its stores, citing complaints from customers. The novelty figurine is still available on Chia Pet's Web site and AOL Shopping, along with other favorites such as Chia Garfield and Chia Bart Simpson.
Is making a Chia Pet in Barack Obama's likeness a slap to his African heritage (and hair), or is it just a harmless celebration of an iconic figure?

There is NO WAY this is racists. I have a Bart Simpson Chia Pet. Is that one racist as well? We need to start treating blacks as equals, rather than some ultra mega super highly sensitive subclass. Hair is hair.
