In an alternative to the time-honored tradition of thinking about baseball, scientists have developed a topical spray that may help premature ejaculators to extend their sex sessions by up to six times longer.

The British Journal of Urology International had 300 men who consistently had trouble lasting more than a minute use PSD502 a few minutes before having intercourse, then time their lovemaking with a stop watch. Sexy. Even sexier, the spray works by containing a local anesthesia that numbs the penis.

According to lead researcher Professor Wallace Dinsmore, "Our study shows that when the PSD502 spray was applied to the man's penis five minutes before intercourse it improved both sexual performance and sexual satisfaction, which are key factors in treating premature ejaculation."

So the good news is that the men were able to have sex for six times longer than they did before. The bad news is that for 90 percent of the men, that was about four minutes. Seriously.
