Cor blimey guv'nor, strike a light. Cop a butcher's at that bloke over there! Proper flash geezer he is in his brand new whistle and flute ... Apologies if that didn't make any sense to you, but it's impossible to think about Jason Statham without lapsing into faux-cockney speak. After competing internationally as a diver, Statham got into a brief modeling career, before playing cartoonish London villains in the Guy Ritchie flicks "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" and "Snatch." More recently, Statham has evolved into a genuine Hollywood action star, grimacing and ass-(or should that be arse?) kicking his way through the ridiculous and brilliant "Transporter" and "Crank" franchises.
Stylistically, Statham combines lad swagger with the sort of suave panache required to keep a straight face. Check our version of Jason Statham's threads below:
Belted Harrison Trench
If you don't fancy shelling out a couple of grand for an authentic Burberry trench, this cool J. Crew number offers a similarly insouciant, '60s-French-hitman vibe at a fraction of the price. ($250 from JCrew.com)
Balenciaga Grey Marl Long Sleeve T-shirt
You can't rock any old long-sleeve gray tee with Statham's casually dapper ensemble. This elegant Balenciaga number is sufficiently dressy to pull off the look. ($87 from Farfetch.com)
More Statham styles, after the jump.
Calvin Klein Men's Martin Boot
($99 from Endless.com)
Rock & Republic Recession Collection -- Neil Straight Leg Jeans (Action Wash)
Two reasons why these smart, dark blue jeans seem appropriate for this outfit: 1. Who doesn't need something from the "Recession Collection" right now? 2. "Action Wash"? Yeah, those sound like the sort of pants Jason Statham would wear. ($132 from Nordstrom.com)
