After a viewing of "Swiss Family Robinson," hanging out with dad in the hunting blind, or seeing how the Ewoks kick it, pretty much every kid wants a treehouse.

For some of us, though, the thrill of a simple tree fort isn't enough. Throughout the world, innovative architects and builders have taken the idea of the treehouse and spun it off into wildly creative structures that even the sharpest Ewok could never have imagined. (Unfortunately, Ewoks can't use the Force.)

    Alnwick Gardens Treehouse is in Newcastle, England, and contains a restaurant, fireplace and meeting spaces.
