Fans of old school gamers know and love the Konami code. Web sites like Digg and Google Reader have been known to use them for special secrets -- and now ESPN joins the crowd. For a little unicorny, sparkly magic, go to ESPN.com and enter the following code on your keyboard: UP ARROW, UP ARROW, DOWN ARROW, DOWN ARROW, LEFT ARROW, RIGHT ARROW, LEFT ARROW, RIGHT ARROW, B, A.

Update: The code may not work on the regular ESPN home page, but there's still time to try it on Google cache. Here's how:

  1. Go to google.com
  2. Enter "espn"
  3. Click on the "Cached" link
  4. Enter the code
Whether this is internal magic or an external hack, we can't say. But check out the before and after shots, after the jump.
