While the grossest thing most of us are likely to find contaminating our food is a fly, one lucky customer found something a little more hardcore at a well-known restaurant chain: a severed snake's head. The unidentified serpent's cranium was discovered, nestled among broccoli on a diner's plate at a Clifton Park, N.Y., T.G.I. Friday's last weekend. The customer took a picture of the thumb-size head with his camera phone and got a free dinner (well, however much of it he could manage to eat after his discovery) for his troubles.
While snakey still had part of his spine attached (yum!), the rest of his body is apparently still missing.
Let's just say if we're ever there, we won't be ordering the fettuccine.
