Everyone likes a nice view from their apartment window, especially of a majestic evergreen forest. Now, the forest can actually be part of the apartment. Designer Edouard Francois has come up with an elegant, simple eco-solution for green roofs -- the systems that provide the benefit of sequestering rain water and cooling structures. Francois' design adds giant flower pots that attach to each level and on the roof.
Additional benefits include not having to travel far for Christmas trees, feeling like you're living inside a Chia Pet, and being able to hide your weed-growing operation in plain sight. [via Dornob]
