The streaker fail to end all streaker fails
What would you rather have?

Last night, Jon Stewart treated the president like he would Dick Cheney or a bald CNBC personality, ripping Obama for blocking the release of photos showing U.S. troops abusing prisoners, and for not honoring his campaign promise to get rid of the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy. And wouldn't you know, the audience laughed, suggesting late-night television's self-imposed ban on Obama mockery could be coming to an end.

The naivetee of Obama is becoming abundantly clear with each passing day. In spite of his "serial flip-floping" during his campaign, I nonetheless voted for him and now regret it. I was duped!

I did not vote this past election because I did not think either candidate deserved my vote. My abstention was dissent.
To those who got caught up in this frenzy so aptly called 'Obamamania', you deserve what you voted for. Politicians all have double standards which they selectively use to 'flip flop' on issues. That the conservatives cannot make any in-roads into this aspect of the President's decision-making, is testament to the malaise that is seen in the electorate.
Obama will do nothing about giving gays equal rights anymore than he will do anything about the treachery of Israel against Palestinians. We like to edify our alleged civilized status by claiming that a Muslim suicide bomber is a terrorist because he/she kills innocent people. However, if a country legitimizes mass killing of people, Muslim or Christian, controls the air, sea and land accesses to another country, we call it self-defense. We then express sympathy for the people our allies kill and send the decimated country millions of our dollars to help rebuild it. This is also terrorism - state-sponsored, no doubt. Did you expect a different result, Oh myopic voter?!!! Or did you think the first, Black President would see things any differently for his white American counterpart?

Jon Stewart is doing his job and he is damn good at it! The Prez will not do everything everybody wants when they want him to do it. One thing is sure, he will do the very best he can for the country and he won't lie, cheat and deprive us of our rights. Gays in the military will have to be resolved by CHANGING the current laws and Obama being the smart strategic person he is, he will make the change with as many folks signing on so healing can begin in this area of our nations identity.

I voted for him thinking he was the lesser of two evils. I still believe that, however, I'm not impressed and a little frightened by him

Drekrab: You have a right to be frightened by him....Obama. He scared the heck out of me before the election and even more so now. This man does not know what he is doing nor what he wants to do. He is trying to please everyone and in doing so is pleasing no one, or at least any thinking, sensible person. He can't make up his mind as to whose side he's on...this is dangerous stuff...he was not ready to be President of The United States of America, but I think he's trying to be President of The World. All you people who voted for him: you screwed up. Now we all will suffer the consequences. What condition will this country be in in 3 1/2 years?

I hope he leaves the country better than he found it. Bush was the biggest F---Up of all times.

I did not vote for Obama. I do not believe he is a citizen and 10 years ago he was a food critic in Chicago. Yes, We have a food critic as the President. He is an angry, cold and hateful man towards the USA. Not to mention his wife. He was not fit to be a Seantor, let alone President. I agree that he is trying to be President of the world. I also regret that my children will not grow up with the same freedoms as I have enjoy, until now. He has ruined capitalism, national security, the banking system, and now wants to ruin healthcare. He has taken toward Socialism (along with Nancy Pelosi and the congress). It is time for people to wake up and pay attention. I did not like some of Bush's policies, but ask yourself this, "Were we safer? Were we are more proftiable nation? Did I agree with the first bailout, no. They should have let AIG go down with the governments retirement, we would have survived. And now it is coming out that all the auto dealerships being closed down are Republican owned dealerships. These dealerships employ democrats, don't they. The government has ruined the auto industry also. But all the TARp, that no one read, and the printing of money that is worth nothing is plain foolish. Thank you Obama, for nothing. You have made America a laughing stock and a mess.

Yes, but you underestimate Obama. Acorn/Obama knows what he is doing! He is demolishing America as we know and love it, and will replace it with an America in his image.

I didn't vote for Obama! I knew he didn't have any type of experence what so ever to be President! He has no idea what he's doing, other than destroying our Country! And I read a while back where Michelle Obama goes out at night "For a Hamberger" Yeah right! How do we know what she really does when she leaves the White House? She could be having an affair with someone for all we know! And that was real stupid of her telling the world that she goes out late at night! I do know that this Country is in very serious trouble! And all Obama can do is sit & make jokes about whats going on here, & laughs about it! I don't care if the guy is Black,White,Purple, or Green, because color isn't the issue here. The issue here is who is experenced enough to run a Country right! And he defently isn't the right person! And neither is Hillary Clinton! Because between Obama & Hillary their both going to get us killed! And their not going to be happy till they get a war started over here! I don't know about the rest of the people in this Country, but it scares the hell out of me when I hear about any type of Missile being shot off! And it seems that every time I hear Obama or Hillary Clinton talk, they seem to only talk about middle class people. Well, what are all of us lower class people who have to pinch pennies to put gas in our cars, or buy food for our homes, or go see a doctor? We don't have a chance in this world the way it is right now! All Obama did was make promises to people, & I don't see that he has kept 1 promise that he has made! I live month to month on $1000 for 2 people, & no health insurance what so ever because I can't afford it. And believe me $1000 a month doesn't go anywhere for 2 people! If we don't get Obama out of that White House, we might as well kiss our A..es good buy!!!!!!!!!!! He promised jobs for people, but yet people are being layed off. And people wonder why there is so much violence in this Country, because they don't have a job to take care of their family thats why! He sits and talkes about trying to save people homes, well, what good does it do for a person being able to keep their home if they don't have a job to make their house payment, or utility bills for it? Yeah, I'd like to see this make save 600,000 jobs in 100 days! Sure those people who are rich aren't going to worry about anything. But I'm pretty sure that a lot of Middle class people are concerned about a lot of things, just like us poor people are concerned! But I myself is far from even being Middle class! I just can't believe that Obama actually sits & jokes about everything he talks about! We needs to stop worrying about other Countries killing each other, because they have been killing each other for 1000's of years! We need to worry about our own Country, & get a better President in there who has experience, because this President doesn't know "SQUAT"! WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! McCain might have been an old man, but he was proven be have been in good health by his doctors, & he would have made a good President, compared to Obama! He might have wanted to keep this war going, but Obama is doing the same thing, only he's going to start another war here if he stays in there! He promised to bring our troops home, & I really believe that thats why a lot of people voted for him! But I think that Obama isn't any better that Bush was as far as spending our tax dollars on this war! Well, I'm sick & tired of being taxed to death, because I can't afford it
myself! Now gas prices are going back up, GREAT!! You people may think that all us poor people do is whine about all this, well, thats yall's opion, but I'm not whining, I'm scared!

Yes, Catherine, that's the truly scary part, that it's our country that's going down the tubes! Our country, and all that our country has stood for regarding democracy and capitalism, is now being threatened by this socialist administration. Socialism did not make this country the great country that it is and still could be, and now that's where we are headed! How someone with no political experience could get elected to be the president of the most powerful country in the world is indeed a miracle of our political system. Talk about the wisdom of the common people!

Our father, who art in the White House, Obama be thy name. Thy labor unions come, thy will be done, in America as it is in Europe. Give us this day our daily health rations, and forgive us our Guantanamo, as we forgive our terrorists. Lead us not into capitalism, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the fascism forever and ever. Amen.

It's beautiful to see the many sides of the American voters. One day you are thoroughly fed up with the follies of administration A, but are quick to find fault in administration B. Unqualified you say? NO one is qualified to be the President of the United States. Unless it is a second term election, the process in an on the job training event!
Instead of your blog critisms, consider copying your state and local legislators with your feelings and thoughts. Your voice is silent and very muted in this forum of expression.
And for those of you that never vote, or chose not to vote - SHUT THE HELL UP! Just like you did on election day!
