Michael Vick was released from prison today -- on #WoofWednesday. This weekly trend topic on Twitter allows users profess their love for man's best friend, men that love man's best friend, and all things canine-centric. It also provides the perfect reason to bash a newly-freed celebrity animal abuser. From M.C. Hammer to the ASPCA, people have been getting quite riled up on the subject.
For now, Ron Mexico seems to be out of the Twitterverse loop and hasn't commented himself. But the occasion has resulted in a plethora of petulant (no pun intended), pointed and ridiculous tweets which you can read after the jump:
@eugem #WoofWednesday and Michael Vick are on Twitter's trending Topic. Ohhhh the IRONY.
