Here at Asylum, we have a policy of love for all ladies -- black or white, short or tall, slender or voluptuous. And one of our particular favorites in the voluptuous category is plus-size hottie Crystal Renn, who just scored a couture fashion spread in Australia's Harper's Bazaar. Um okay...the women in the slide show are size 8-12. That is NOT really plus size. That would be 14+ in reality. The only reason they are considered "plus size" is because main stream modeling is size 0-4. These women are by far more beautiful that their thinner counterparts. I would rather see them in a magazine spread any day!

There's not a single woman there who wears an 8-12 - and even if there were - that's NOT PLUS SIZE!! What the hell is it with people who can't stand to see these are gorgeous real women looking like WOMEN with all the curves and softness and voluptuousness that comes along with it? Collarbones and hipbones and ribs sticking through flesh tight enough to be drum skin and starving themselves to get that way is NOT what women are all about - but it's apparently something that people are trying to force on us as something not only acceptable but desirable. I am not now and never have bought into that bogus concept......

That is exactly what I am saying. As for the 8-12 I was giving a ballpark figure for the sizes that are used in "plus size modeling" as I was once asked if I would be interested in it...being a size 10. As for bone structure I have a collarbone that sticks out but I am a size 12 now...when it comes down to it everyone is different but I would have to reiterate that I would rather see a woman with a figure in a spread than a skinny woman who looks like a pre-pubescent girl. Real women are the most beautiful.

Yes it is interesting. Women tend to have more of an opinion on this topic for obvious reasons. Unfortunately men in this country have been bombarded with airbrushed photos of women with C chests and size 2 hips and many think this is what a woman should look like. Kudos to any man that loves a woman with hips and a fuller healthy body.

i love my size 12 jean, small waist, flat stomach and thick thighs. all the things to make a man go crazy. and not only that im confident and its nothing better than a woman w/ confidence and a stride in her walk to show it. rocking 5in heels on a daily basis is like art to me. something has to keep my balance and my legs fully sculpted. i think all women are beautiful but it's about time that society starts to accept the fact that beauty comes n all different sizes, shapes and colors. that's why we were all created different. so to all my thick ladies stay beautiful and stay blessed. work what you was born with and don;t let it work you...

i gotta comment on something.. my last 4 girlfriends have been of what i could consider "plus size girls" which does not mean fat or overweight though attractive and full figured, so i have no complaints.. But, when a woman decides they want to gain more weight to increase their breast size, how to you tell them that it actually looks worse? Why risk unsighly cellulite, "rolls," and overall attractiveness to have larger breasts??? Even when they are absolutely gorgeous to begin with?!

Hey people it depends how tall you are if your short, say under 4 and a half ft 8-12 is plus-size, but if your five or over it's normal size.
I have to agree, they don't look plus-size however.

I don't see any size 8 women in the pictures. They all look like a size 10+ to me. Im a size 12 but up until 7 yrs ago i was a size 8. I was a lot thinner than all the women in these pictures and was concidered anorexic as i was under weight with a low bmi. Today at 7 stone and a size 8 im concidered to be normal dispite when i am 7 stone you can count every one of my ribs, my hip bones show through my clothes and i have a very protruding collar bone. Today a size 2,4 is concidered normal. Back in the late 90's women who were a size 2,4 were hospitalized. Today it's normal and healthy. our high street stores are now selling size 4 clothes. I brought a stunning size 4 top from asda for my 8yr old and it fits her perfectly.

You know i get so sick of hearing men rave on how they find larger women, stretch marks , droopy boobs and loose skin unattactive. Get real you guy's get stretch marks, beer guts, man titty, loose skin, sagging ball's and a wrinkly foreskin with age. I know guy's with a c cup chest in their 30's.
