Exposure to the sun boosts the intellect of men over 40, while also warding off dementia.Scientist tested over 3,000 European males between the ages of 40-79 on their memory and mental-reaction time and found those with the highest levels of Vitamin D -- which is produced by the body when sunlight hits the skin -- consistently scored better.
Researchers warned that the sun still causes cancer, and suggested fish oils and supplement pills as alternative ways to get Vitamin D. They also conceded they are still not sure exactly why Vitamin D and mental agility are connected.
