The Neatdesk Automatic Document Scanner will help you clear out your office filing cabinets, so you'll finally have plenty of room to hide your collection of coping scotches. Besides that all-important feature, the Neatdesk ($400) helps deal with pesky, oddly sized docs like receipts and business cards with an easy-to-use scanner. Scanned cards can be automatically uploaded to your address book, while receipts can be entered into a tax ledger. Documents can also be converted to a variety of formats, including PDF, Excel, Quicken, QuickBooks and TurboTax.
Up to 10 receipts or business cards can be loaded at once, making it a good buddy when unloading your wallet after the business conference. (If you didn't actually go to the conference, simply use it to scan receipts from outings with the mistress.)
