Not only did Kevin James's mall-cop movie thoroughly pepper-spray Seth Rogen's mall-cop movie in 2009's battle of the security-guard-for-hire flicks, but according to our friends at FilmDrunk, it ended up grossing almost $150 million domestically.

We have to admit, the first time we saw a preview for "Paul Blart: Mall Cop," and processed that a movie featuring the "King of Queens" on a Segway was headed for a national theatrical release we felt insulted, as Americans.

Yet, maybe we shouldn't have been so shocked, as silly character-driven comedies have been doing boffo business ever since Ace Ventura flashed his pet detective card. In fact, some of them have been pretty darn funny. But which flick with a colon in its title has been the best?
